Typography Works

Types are everywhere. Good typography supports and reinforces the meaning of the message in content. It improves reading experience with maximized legibility and readability. Below are couple samples of types working in design.

Eisleben Circle Page

The design started with a two color palette of gold and light blue to provide a visual contrast for better readability. Multiple typefaces are used to create hierarchy in content.

Academic Catalog Cover

You can see the beauty of script font on the cover of the Academic catalog. And it is never a miss when you put script typeface to use for decoration.

Memory & Reconciliation

This is a mixed work of graphic, photography and types. The work of typography dominates the design. The bold stroke of the typeface takes the lead with the help of a more vivid color and it also be able to respond to the Reformation logo. Line space is reduced to help building unity, which is not a stranger to typography works.

Concordia Journal Masthead

The masthead design is part of the redesign of the Concordia Journal. The choice about what typeface to be used on the masthead is critical to to quality. The xxx does the job. It comes with good alignment to allow two words stacked together, the strokes keep the thin and bold character to maintain a visual contrast, while the space between letters is reduced along with the treatment on letter J and L to build up a unity for the masthead.
